Brotheridge Moves Into the 44th Assembly District

June 1st, 2010

JANESVILLE, WI – Ken Brotheridge officially announced today that he has moved into the 44th Assembly District. Brotheridge, who is challenging incumbent Mike Sheridan and will face a primary election this fall, has moved into Park Place Apartments on Janesville’s east side. Brotheridge lists his address as: 2718 Park Place Lane #233 Janesville, WI 53545.

“I have spent a majority of my life in Janesville and I have always been proud to call Janesville my home. I can definitely say that Janesville is my home once again, as I have moved into the 44th Assembly District.”

Brotheridge initially planned to move into the City of Janesville in order to be closer to his job in Rockford, Illinois, but he had a much bigger calling – declaring his candidacy for the 44th Assembly District. Brotheridge stated, “Janesville is where I want to raise my family. I want to provide my family with the same opportunities I had, but at this rate, those same opportunities are vastly decreasing.”

“Instead of being passive, I decided to do something positive for Janesville. I was motivated to enter the race for the 44th Assembly District. The residents of Janesville deserve a representative to the assembly who lives in the district and shares the concerns facing the City of Janesville.”

“I have spent a lot of time in Janesville listening to the residents of the 44th Assembly District and I would consider it an honor to work for my fellow Janesville citizens and fight for their interests in Madison.”
