Amy Loudenbeck Intends to File for 45th District Amy Loudenbeck

April 29, 2010

Beloit, WI – (April 28, 2010) Amy Loudenbeck of Clinton is announcing her intent to file as a Republican Candidate for the 45th Assembly District. “I understand the district, I know the political process and I value the benefits of teamwork and collaboration. I am ready to represent the 45th District in state government,” said Loudenbeck.

Loudenbeck, who recently left her position of Vice President for the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce where she worked for seven years, has interacted with a wide range of businesses, institutions and non-profit organizations in the district. A UW-Madison 1991 graduate with degrees in political science and international relations, she spent several years in Madison working for private companies that interacted with various levels of state government. Loudenbeck’s career path led her into the field of environmental and engineering services, with an emphasis on regulatory and project management. She is presently self-employed as a landlord, business coach and regulatory compliance consultant, and also serves as a Clinton Town Board Supervisor.

Acknowledging that bringing jobs to the state and the district are critical to economic recovery, she sees potential for existing businesses to grow their sales through exports. She would also like to simplify the bureaucracy associated with business start-up and expansion.

Loudenbeck and her husband Matt, a Firefighter/Paramedic, live in the Town of Clinton where they enjoy working on their hobby farm and connecting with their rural counterparts.

Loudenbeck sees the diversity of the district as a great asset, and welcomes the challenge of representing the district and serving as an advocate for its residents in Madison. “I look forward to interacting with constituents in ways that are meaningful and comfortable for them. If there is no common ground on which to connect, people feel that they aren’t part of the political process, said Loudenbeck. “Good government means building on those relationships and seeking common sense solutions. I can do that, which is why I want to represent the 45 Assembly District.”

Loudenbeck is currently assembling her campaign committee.  Anyone interested in learning more about her campaign, volunteering or making a donation is welcome to contact her at amy@amyforassembly.com. Amy will be assisted by Campaign Treasurer, Joan Waite, and Campaign Advisor, Professor of Economics Jeff Adams.
