Loudenbeck Picks Up Key Endorsement
(Janesville) -- Amy Loudenbeck, Republican Candidate for Wisconsin’s 45th Assembly District has obtained a key endorsement from Wisconsin’s 42nd Lieutenant Governor Margaret Farrow.
In her endorsement letter, Farrow stated, “As a former Lieutenant Governor, state Senator and state Representative, I understand what it takes to be an effective leader and representative. Amy understands the district and is sensitive to its unique mix of urban and rural populations and diverse economic drivers. She is also the most-qualified candidate for the position. That is why I’m endorsing Amy Loudenbeck as the Republican candidate for the 45th Assembly District.”
Margaret Farrow was Wisconsin’s first female lieutenant governor. Farrow was appointed to the position after then-Lieutenant Governor Scott McCallum was elevated to governor upon the departure of Gov. Tommy Thompson to join the administration of George W. Bush in January 2001.
Prior to being appointed lieutenant governor, Farrow was president of the Elm Grove, Wisconsin Village Board. After her term with the Village Board, Farrow was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly, and later the Wisconsin State Senate. She remains active in civic and political activities.
Farrow’s endorsement concluded with the following affirmation, “Supporting Amy Loudenbeck was a very easy decision for me to make. She’s passionate about Wisconsin, a true conservative Republican and she has the tenacity and drive to win this September and this November.”
