FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 15th, 2010 |
Loudenbeck endorsed by Wisconsin Realtors Association
Clinton, WI –October 15, 2010–Amy Loudenbeck, Republican candidate for Wisconsin’s 45th Assembly District, announced today her endorsement by the Wisconsin Realtors Association, one of the largest trade associations in Wisconsin.
Joe Murray, Director of Political and Governmental Affairs for the WRA stated, "Loudenbeck's positions on taxes and fees, housing affordability and economic development best represent the real estate and housing needs of the 45th Assembly District today and in the future." Specifically, the WRA endorsed Loudenbeck based on the following issues:
- Loudenbeck does not support raising taxes to deal with the state budget deficit. Amy knows we must grow the economy to pay for quality schools, health care and to maintain a high quality of life in Wisconsin.
- Loudenbeck supports health savings accounts (HSAs) to make health care more affordable for independent contractors.
- Loudenbeck strongly supports policies that will promote a stronger economy, a stronger real estate market and help Wisconsin become a more business friendly state to create jobs.
"Loudenbeck stated, "I am proud to receive the endorsement of the Wisconsin Realtors Association which is dedicated to preserving, protecting and promoting Wisconsin's unique quality of life, one home at a time. A strong economy will result in a thriving real estate market, and I will promote policies which will grow our state economy and create jobs. I understand the important issues affecting realtors, homeowners, and property owners, and will fight for fair taxation and a high quality of life in my district.”
Amy Loudenbeck entered the race for the 45th Assembly District at the end of April, months after her primary opponents. Amy's late entry to this race made her an underdog but her promise to fight for everyone in this diverse district quickly caught on and resonated in every to town, village, and city.
Amy believes that a representative's job is to do just that: represent their own district. She made that belief a central theme in her campaign with the slogan "Your District | Your Future."
The 45th Assembly District includes the City of Beloit, three wards in the City of Janesville, the Village of Clinton and seven Towns in eastern Rock and Walworth Counties.
