Loudenbeck Applauds Interstate 90/39 Expansion
Clinton, WI – November 2nd, 2010–Amy Loudenbeck, candidate for the 45th Assembly District, reacts to the Transportation Projects Commission unanimous vote to approve the Interstate 90/39 expansion project for Rock and Dane counties.
“I applaud the Transportation Projects Commission’s prompt action to move this project forward. Interstate 90/39 is long overdue for expansion. This key corridor to Wisconsin is a major artery in Wisconsin’s economy. As such, it is responsible for bringing commercial and tourism dollars to the state’s bottom line and I will do everything to remove any roadblocks to that success.”
“While the TPC’s vote is an important first step on this project, much work remains with regard to working with leadership and representatives from across the state to secure funding for this project. My support for this project dates back to my involvement in government relations and regional economic development as Vice President at the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce. A safe and reliable infrastructure is key to attracting job-creating businesses to the area and, if elected, I will work tirelessly to keep this project moving forward.”
Amy Loudenbeck helped businesses throughout her time at the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce, which lasted over seven years. Her roles included Executive Director of the Business Materials Exchange of Wisconsin (BMEx), Government Relations Director, Vice President, and Interim President. Loudenbeck vowed to take her experience helping small businesses to Madison where she will support legislation to jump start job creation in Rock County and the State of Wisconsin.
Amy believes that a representative's job is to do just that: represent their own district. She made that belief a central theme in her campaign with the slogan "Your District | Your Future."
The 45th Assembly District includes the City of Beloit, three wards in the City of Janesville, the Village of Clinton and seven Towns in eastern Rock and Walworth Counties.
