Wynn Statement on 2012 Elections
(Whitewater, WI) -- Today, Representative Evan Wynn (R–Whitewater) released the following statement on the 2012 elections:
“It doesn’t surprise me that Andy feels that he has to leave his hometown to keep his job. He has undoubtedly realized that his current constituents will soundly reject his record of billions of dollars in tax increases, exploding budget deficits, and record job losses when they compare it to this legislature’s true reforms.
“Now, Andy has to move to a new district where the voters are unaware of his extremely liberal, job-killing record.
“While I have been working tirelessly for the past 9 1/2 months to grow the economy and create jobs for all Wisconsinites, this announcement shows that this three-term politician is only focused on keeping his own job – more than a year away from the closest election.
“I look forward to doing the work of the people of the 43rd Assembly District over the next year, and will address my 2012 plans after the legislature’s work is complete.”
